Every person has the right and capacity to start or continue a journey of healing, one they get to define and chart for themselves. In many cases, society tells a story about us and how we fall short, don’t fit in, or don’t belong. Internalized messages, from even well-meaning friends or family can make us feel smaller or less than. Let’s collaboratively look at ideas that might hold you back and see which fit for you and which feel unjust, reductive, or marginalizing. Which of these can we discard and release, and which ones will we take with us?

I have experience and passion working with people with complex trauma and relationship difficulties. I have an eclectic working style that includes aspects of psychodynamic practice, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and ACT. What’s important to me is finding a blend of practices that works for you and ensuring that you feel heard, understood, and cared for.

As a therapist, I hold onto hope when clients are feeling too low to have hope in themselves. It’s a privilege and an honor for me to do this work with you and to hold your hope when you are down. I view each person as unique and the expert in their experience; I’d love to learn more about your life in our sessions.
